I had my computer rebooted and lost everything. Now ive downloaded itunes again and need to get my music and movies from my iphone onto my computer again. How can i do this? How do you open your iphone as a usb device instead of connecting with itunes?(I'm not sure if this will work for an iPhone - I've only tried it on an iPod):
1. Enable hidden folder viewing: Control Panel %26gt; Folder Options %26gt; View %26gt; Advanced Settings %26gt; Hidden files and folders %26gt; Show hidden files and folders.
2. Select "Enable disk use" from the summary page in iTunes while your device is connected to the computer. Then you go to My Computer, select your iPod, and click on the folder called iPod Control. One of the folders in there should contain all your music. From there, you can copy and paste the files to your computer's hard drive and re-add them to your library.
Note: The file names will look like a whole bunch of jumbled numbers and letters. You can fix this (or you can just leave it, since it doesn't really affect anything). To fix it, you need to go to iTunes %26gt; Edit %26gt; Preferences %26gt; Advanced %26gt; Keep iTunes media folder organized. Then iTunes will rename all the files so they have the proper names. How do you open your iphone as a usb device instead of connecting with itunes?I was having a similar question several days ago. in trying to search the answer I found a way to obtain a new iphone for free from theiphone4net.tk. the phone is scheduled for delivery in a few days and im so excited.
