Is it possible to attach an iphone camera to an ipod touch and it actually work?

Like say take a broken iphone and salvage the camera part. Could it be attached to the mother board of an ipod touch? If so, would it even work?Is it possible to attach an iphone camera to an ipod touch and it actually work?I highly doubt it. The iPod wasn't build to supply power nor does it have the software.
